Reserve your seat at May’s Principals Roundtable breakfast with David Pye, senior project manager and group manager at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.
The presentation will cover lessons from construction development programs where various lean principles were applied with varying degrees of success.
The construction industry is notoriously inefficient. Application of lean principles have been gaining popularity over the years as construction executives, owners and stakeholders search for ways to improve their delivery lifecycle. Coupled with a technological revolution which has introduced a litany of new tools specifically targeted towards the AEC industry, project teams are able to deliver projects faster, at higher quality and more safely than ever before.
The modern project team is continuously presented with new and creative ways to succeed and fail. With all that’s changing, some things remain the same: project success is ultimately comes down to the people “pulling the levers.”
