Sign up for June’s Principals Roundtable breakfast featuring Savannah College of Art and Design architecture professor Hsu-Jen Huang, PhD, Assoc. AIA.
Hsu-Jen will discuss issues relating to professional architecture education, NCARB certification requirements and the paths to architecture licensure.
Topics will include educational approaches to mentor students on a range of professional opportunities and career paths; the transition from university to internship and licensure; and preparation for successful engagement in the architecture profession and community.

- Understand licensure requirements and NCARB Certification requirements and the way in which the education requirement is critical
- Understand the overall process of planning and adjusting architectural curriculum for professional degree programs
- Understand the requirements of the internship program including mentorship
More about Hsu-Jen
Hsu-Jen is one of the authors of SCAD’s IPAL (Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure) program and serves as SCAD’s Architect Licensing Advisor (previously as IDP Coordinator) since 2009.
In addition, he has extensive experience serving on National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) visiting team since 2005 including serving as the team chair for numerous accreditation visits.
