Interior finish elements such as the floorcovering system greatly impact the final aesthetics of a structure, as well as overall owner/public satisfaction. Floorcovering specification sections often do not address the floorcovering system’s compatibility with the application type and intended service use. This is unintentional, but rather is an innate result of the misunderstanding of sufficient compatibilities of the various types of floorcovering systems within their installed environments.

During this presentation, we will discuss published floorcovering systems installation standards and specifications that will aid the attendee in strengthening their Division 09 sections, thereby avoiding these incompatibilities. In addition, identification and categorization of various floorcovering system failures, immediate and latent, will be presented. Illustrating how best to properly prevent these failures from occurring during the design and product selection process. The result: a successful floorcovering system installation.

This presentation takes place in person at the Cosentino City Atlanta showroom in Buckhead. Lunch will be provided and parking validations are offered.

Learning objectives
