In collaboration with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), KONE is proud to offer “Elevator Technology: Where it’s been and where it’s going,” a presentation that will provide insight into what you, the architect, should know related to elevators. This program is registered with the AIA/CES for continuing professional education and registered AIA members will earn continuing professional education credits.

The presentation will start with a section on Elevator History & Technology and then the audience will be able to choose additional topics that are relevant to their current work.

Elevator History & Technology:

  • Learn to differentiate between hydraulic, machine room-less, and overhead traction elevators
  • Update your knowledge of today’s newest technology
