Lord Aeck Sargent’s Karen Gravel, AIA leads an important conversation on historic preservation during March’s Architects Roundtable. Directing the firm’s Historic Preservation Studio, Karen is an expert in the rehabilitation, restoration, and preservation of old buildings.
Karen’s interest in old buildings inspired her career, developing an appreciation for their history and a desire to reuse them. As a LEED Accredited Professional who hasn’t worked on a new building in over 20 years, she knows how historic preservation is environmentally and ecologically responsible.
