Meet the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Regional Commission

Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) Executive Director Anna Roach joins us for Architects Roundtable, leading a conversation on issues facing the region, plus the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and related workforce needs.

Available in person and virtually, the presentation will span topics including housing affordability, equity, climate change, transportation, aging services, community development, and workforce development.

Roach arrived at ARC in 2022, directing the agency’s work in broad policy areas under ARC’s purview and leading the commission’s engagement with public officials at the federal, state, and local levels.

Before joining ARC, Roach served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Fulton County. A lawyer by training, Roach has worked as a management consultant focusing on operational and business process efficiencies and has held several key legal leadership positions during her career.

Roach is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta and the American Bar Association. She serves as an advisory board member at Tyler Technologies, as well as Avenu Insights and Analytics, and is a past board chair of the Atlanta March of Dimes.

She holds a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York, College at Cortland. Roach resides in the City of South Fulton with her husband and three children.
