The ARE Study Series continues with a review of practice management, led by NYC Department of Design and Construction’s Jenna Wandishin, AIA.

Take an in-depth look inside the ARE 5.0 Practice Management division covering professional ethics, fiduciary responsibilities, regulations governing the practice, and more.

Attendees will learn about issues related to pre-contract tasks such as negotiation, human resource management, and consultant development. The session will also help candidates understand business structure, development, and asset protection.

Meet Jenna

Jenna Wandishin, AIA, is a licensed architect working for the NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) as a Program Executive in the Front-End Planning unit for Public Buildings. In this unit, she develops project scopes that define project objectives, design guidelines, and cost estimates to create comprehensive, initial project planning. Before joining DDC, Jenna served as Project Architect/Manager at Matiz Architecture and Design, and at Moody-Nolan Inc. where she led retail, cultural, education, non-profit, and residential projects. Jenna believes that architecture is a civic pursuit and was a fellow in the inaugural 2017 AIANY Civic Leadership Program. More >
