The Designers of Tomorrow Fair, formerly the Youth Architecture Fair, is an exciting annual program open to students in grades kindergarten through 12, allowing young minds to explore architecture and design concepts. It is a great learning experience for students who may be interested in pursuing a career in the design professions.

A guest speaker first welcomes attendees and introduces the fair’s theme. Following, students break up into small teams led by architects and volunteers. In groups, students are given program cards and begin sketching ideas with the intent to build their models. There is also a drawing charette exercise and storytelling. All attendees later reconvene in the main lobby, where student present their models.

The 2017 Designers of Tomorrow Fair returns in April 2017. Sign up below to receive updates.
