Design Equilibrium, AIA Atlanta’s annual magazine, is created to educate, engage and generate discussion on the built environment. The publication features articles written by professionals and other members of the design communities, and also highlights various programs produced by the organization throughout the year.

Design Equilibrium is made available for digital viewing on AIA Atlanta’s website for free, with hard copies available for a minimal price to cover the cost of printing.

The 2018 Issue

The truth is that many people do not understand what architecture is or why architects are important. The 2018 issue of Design Equilibrium will address all the questions non-architects have about architecture.

We sought articles that explained what architecture is and what architects do—and offered specific examples of how architecture has solved problems in healthcare, underserved communities, arts communities and more.
