Biography

Steve Hart is a principal at HLGstudio. He received his Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has worked for over 30 years in Atlanta.  Today, Steve’s focus is on the corporate workplace, and he has worked with a wide variety of clients, including Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD), and Shaw Industries.

With a rich history as a well-respected member of the Atlanta design community, he has a personal commitment to the industry outside of the office. He has taught at both AIU and Georgia State University and has served on the National Board for ASID as Director at Large. Today, Steve serves on the board of the Atlanta Chapter of CoreNet Global as President-Elect.

Having completed numerous high-profile and award-winning projects, he is best known for his ability to connect with the human element – designing to support his clients’ brands and cultures. No matter the scale or scope, he approaches each project individually to provide creative solutions, while incorporating his expertise on “best practices” in the workplace environment. Whether it involves travel, the arts, or great food – he most enjoys spending time with good friends.

My favorite design tool(s) are the people I work with every day. I draw inspiration from my clients and colleagues on each project that I do. It is only through collaboration and partnership that we create meaningful and lasting design.
